If you are a moss lover or native plant enthusiast who wants to utilize mosses as intentional horticultural elements in your home landscape, her PowerPoint program includes inspiring photographs and proven techniques that will lead to your own success. Topics of interest will include the significance of mosses in a healthy ecosystem, environmental benefits, choosing appropriate moss species, planting methods, and recommended maintenance tasks. To complement the entertaining and informative presentation, participants will be introduced to live moss specimens during the interactive hands-on portion of the program by taking a closer look and experiencing the pleasure of a moss petting zoo. After the lecture, participants will be invited to stroll over to the Mossery and make special moss purchases.
