Effective October 7, 2023

Mountain Moss Enterprises, Inc. is eliminating shipping of our live moss products (moss trays, moss mats, moss living wall panels) to all USDA Category 1 and 2 states. My NCDA inspector has informed me that chemical treatments for all live mosses are required to control the possible spread of Japanese Beetles and nematodes. The treatment process is quite involved. As a small business, we have been impacted by a series of economic challenges including rising prices for supplies, increased shipping costs and climbing labor rates. After conducting an economic cost/benefit analysis of our online Moss Shop products and assessing the corresponding financial costs for meeting extensive protocols and regulations for the application of the appropriate chemicals, we have decided to eliminate shipping of live moss trays and moss mats to the following states.
